Oxford Press to Print branch opened on the Little Clarendon Street in 1969 with a later branch on the Cowley Road in 1980. By 1982, the Cowley Road branch had outgrew its location and was relocated to St. Clements.
2005 saw the opening of the current Gloucester Green office where both the St Clements and Little Clarendon Offices were merged into a single unit at Gloucester Green. Kenny Moore and Mark Dean had been with the branch for over 28 years each, gathering a wealth of knowledge along the way.
We've also been one of the first print companies in Oxford to have digital colour copiers and investment in this area has continued to include state of the art digital colour and black and white reproduction machines capable of producing sizes from A5 to A0 and beyond!
From a simple 'copy shop', the Oxford branch has grown over the years into a full lithographic printing and digital printing hub with a competent pre-press unit equipped with two Quad Core Apple iMacs running up to date Design and Desktop Publishing Software including Adobe CS5 Design Premium suite of software, Quark Express and a host of others. These are in addition a number of Windows equipped PCs. We are thus well placed to conceptualise, design and produce virtually any document on a 24-hour print-on-demand turnaround basis to complex, high quality items such as books, brochures, magazines, leaflets, canvases, architectural plans and many others.
Our client base has grown to include Wiley-Blackwell, Oxford University Press, MacMillan, Oxford University, Oxford Brookes University, John Radcliffe Hospitals, Research Machines, the University Colleges and Student Unions as well as many individuals. One of our clients says this:
