Comb

Need a flexible, cost-effective way to bind any document up to c500 pages? Plastic comb binding could be the answer.

One of the most common methods of loose leaf binding. Holes are punched in the spine edge of the pages of the document and a plastic comb is inserted through the holes. Plastic binding combs are available in various colours and sizes to accommodate different documents in terms of page size and number of pages.

It is worth of note that while this method of binding allows the document to be opened flat, it cannot be opened a full 360 degrees. this is due to the width  of the body of the comb. If this is a requirement wire binding would be a better method for your documents.

Comb binding is recommended for relatively short runs, say up to 100 copies, as it is a manual process and can be quite time consuming.

An added benefit of comb binding is that the document can be disassembled if required without incurring any damage.
